Beijing Worker's Stadium Sound Reinforcement System Project Chooses Beta Three

The Workers' Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the Chaoyang District of north-eastern Beijing, China.The stadium was built in 1959 and was last renovated in 2006 for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games for which it hosted the football quarter-finals and semi-finals, and the women's gold medal final.It has a seating capacity of 66,161 and covers a land area of 350,000 square meters. It is one of the Ten Great Buildings constructed in 1959 for the 10th anniversary of the People's Republic of China.
Elder Audio won the bid for the upgrade of the sound reinforcement system project of the stadium in 2007. The project included the installation of a touring performance system which is made up of the TLA line array speakers as the main PA system and T series for side/front filthe grandstand sound reinforcement system which is made up of Beta Three high sound quality S series speakers, and public broadcast system which is made up of Beta Three ceiling speakers BT series. The project is powered by Beta Three UA amplifiers. Beta Three Digital processors were used to optimize the sound.
A project group was established in Elder Audio for the design and installation. In Oct 2007, the whole sound reinforcement systems passed all the acceptance criteria by the International Olympic Committee.
